Anthony Hamilton is name of one of the famous American R&B, soul, and neo soul singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born in the month of January 28, 1971 in the town of Charlotte.

He had gained the fame with his platinum-selling second studio album titled Comin' from Where I'm from, in the year of 2003. Hamilton has also made a cameo in the film, titled American Gangster as a soul singer, to which he also contributes music to the film's soundtrack.

Hamilton had covered and performed at the 2008 BET Awards, Hamilton covered/performed Al Green's Tired of Being Alone during a tribute to Green's career. XTC is the debut album by American R&B/soul singer Anthony Hamilton, released in October 1996 (see 1996 in music) on MCA Records.

It debuted and peaked at number nineteen on the Billboard 200 and number four on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums the charting week of December 31, 2005, being certified gold by the RIAA in early April 2006.

The Southern Comfort is considered to be the second compilation album him in the April of on Merovingian Music. The album debuted and peaked at number ninety on the Billboard 200 the week of April 28, 2007, dropping off the top one hundred the following week and leaving the chart completely two weeks later.
