Details of Anthony Gomes and the Ticket Luck value
Anthony Gomes is a name of a famous Canadian blues and blues-rock guitarist and singer. He was born in Toronto in the year of 1970. he had released his debut album titled Blues in Technicolor in the year of 1997.
After the release, he had started touring the United States and Canada and there are two more albums, to his credit, after that. He works very hard along with his band and they have a really different but novel style.
Anthony Gomes has a residence in the city of Chicago, where he is busy in having an innovative style of music by fusing his blues with rock and soul. There is an extraordinary quality being shared by all the critics and fans, that he has very powerful vocal skills and has the energetic style for the live experience with the Anthony Gomes Band that has been touring North America also Europe.
They had a very successful tour titled Saddle up with Anthony Gomes and the New Soul Cowboys, it was considered to be an award winning and highly acclaimed singer-guitarist.
The musical core that links blues, rock, soul and country, he's joined by the New Soul Cowboys, featuring bassist David Karns, drummer Peter Lang and keyboardist Dylan St. John.
Anthony considers himself and his band as the best example of Southern rock. They call themselves at the place, where the musical scene has been occupied by Jimi Hendrix, Hank Williams Jr. and Muddy Waters all meet.
The band had been focusing in the studio preparing for the tracks for its self-titled debut and will also be releasing a DVD in the fall, during the whole of the summer of 2008. The group has very high Southern Rock credentials.
They have collaborated with Jim Peterik, chief songwriter for .38 Special, and Tom Hambridge who writes with Skynyrd and Van Zant. Gomes has shared the stage with Gretchen Wilson, Big and Rich, James Otto and blues legends BB King and Buddy Guy.
The group has also formed a tie Lynyrd Skynyrd, .38 Special, the Doobie Brothers, and Cross Canadian Ragweed, among others. The group has such shining songs like: Rebel Highway, Purple Whiskey Sack, and that musical mission statement, New Soul Cowboy.
The crunchy What It's All About is a prime slice of catchy-riffing Southern Rock while Born To Ride is roadhouse blues, southern fried with a recipe that goes back to classic Allman Brothers.
No doubt about it, Southern Rock is on the rise again and the New Soul Cowboys are leading that revolution. Nashville is an exciting place, a breeding ground for musical hybrids, Gomes says. The next big thing is definitely going to come out of here.
Over the course of several studio albums, Anthony Gomes has made it clear that he has a lot of ideas about what he wants to do with his work. To put it simply, hes far from content with being known merely as a blues artist.
Nevertheless, he also hasnt yet figured out how to finesse his way through the sort of sophisticated textures that he wants to deploy on his recordings.
With age, experience, and maturity, he likely will blossom in the not too distant future. In the meantime, his brawny, impassioned concerts will have to suffice.
