Amos Lee was born as Ryan Anthony Massaro in Philadelphia in 1977, he started writing his own songs and playing acoustic guitar while he was still in high school. Lee released his second studio album Supply and Demand in 2006 this album reached #76 on US Billboard 200 and the producer of this album was Barry Maguire.

In the year 2007 Last Days at the Lodge was released, this album raced to #11 spot on US Rock Charts and #29 on US Billboard. Mission Bell is the latest work of Amos Lee; this album was released in January 2011 and proves to be his best effort as this is his first and only album to reach the #1 position on both US Billboard and US Rock Charts.
