At the Australian MTV Australia Video Music Awards in 2007, 30 Minutes to Mars won "Video of the Year" and "Best Rock Video" for "The Kill". That same year Wachter the bassist left the group but that didn't stop them from touring all over the world and performing at major festivals like Roskilde, Pinkpop, Download etc. and being the supporting band to the headliners like the Used and Linkin Park. The year of 2007 was full of awards and honors for the trio as they got the MTV Europe Music Award for the single, "Rock Out", Kerrang Award for Best Single for the acclaimed single "The Kill" and an award for Fuse's Best of 2007 with over 7 million votes. That contest included 31 other music acts some top ones like Linkin Park, Muse, My Chemical Romance as well Avenged Sevenfold. For the band, that was really a big achievement. 30 Seconds to Mars also have a wide Latino fan base which was proved in 2008 when they got "Best International Rock Artist" award at the Los Premios MTV Latino-America. that vey same year, 2 Kerrang Awards were also won by them for "Best Single — From Yesterday" as well as "Best International Band". Besides these albums, 30STM has also recorded many hit singles and has worked in collaboration with other artists like Kanye West as well.
