Their professional credits also include two prestigious Croatian Music Awards for the debut album and the Michael Jackson cover Smooth Criminal. The cellists first encountered at a master class in Croatia before joining the Academy of Music in Zagreb. They studied together in Vienna and later went separate ways. Luka Sulic attended the Royal Academy of Music in London while Stjepan Hauser joined the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. They were first spotted on Youtube playing the song Smooth Criminal. During its initial weeks the video received around three million views before hitting the eleven million mark later. Another single released by 2Cellos is a cover song of Guns n' Roses titled Welcome to the Jungle.
As far as the concerts are concerned, Elton John was so enamored by their skills that he asked them to accompany him on his summer tour. Other than that they have made their presence known on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Perez Hilton's Perez TV, while also performing at iTunes Festival in London.
