Tuscaloosa is situated in West Central Alabama in the United States. This city is a seat of Tuscaloosa County and is located on the famous Black Warrior River. Tuscaloosa is the fifth largest city in Alabama.

Moundville Archeological Park The Moundville Archaeological Park is located 14 miles south of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This park is built on a 320-acre land including natural trails, Indian Villages, and a museum. An internationally known National Historic Landmark, Moundville contains 20 prehistoric Indian mounds and an archaeological museum which displays some of the finest Mississippian-era artifacts ever found in North America. Lake Lurleen State Park
The Lake Lurleen State Park is located 9 miles northwest of the cities of Tuscaloosa and Northport. This park is named after the Alabama"s only female governor. UA is the senior doctoral university in the state.
