Laramie

Laramie the tent city of 19th century, today is a populous city of Wyoming. Lying on the shore of Laramie River in the southeastern Wyoming is the beautiful valley of Laramie. This beautiful city is encapsulated by the rocky mountain ranges of Snowy and Laramie. The city of Laramie was named after a French Canadian fur trader dwelling here in the early 19th century. Once he went into the mountains and never came back since then the river and this city was named Laramie. The museum has displayed the original fossils of the dinosaurs along with 50,000 listed mineral rocks.
