Details of Itaquera and the Ticket Luck value
The Arena Corinthians in Itaquera, Sao Paulo is one of the stadiums that were sanctioned to be built for the FIFA World Cup 2014. The Corinthians, upon completion, will be the eleventh-largest stadium in Brazil. It will be hosting six matches in total for the FIFA World Cup 2014, four of which will be group matches.
The first match that will be held here will feature five-time world champion Brazil going up against Croatia, from Group A on June 12. They will be followed by Uruguay versus England from Group D, on June 19 and then Netherlands versus Chile from Group B, on June 23. The forty-eighth match of the tournament and the last of the group matches to be hosted by Itaquera will be South Korea versus Belgium from Group H, on June 26. The Brazil-Croatia match constitutes the kick-off of the FIFA World Cup 2014, making it the stadium that will initiate this exciting event that comes around just once in four years.
The area has great weather during the summer months – perfect for the FIFA months, although there might be a few thunderstorms here and there. The stadium is just on the outskirts of Sao Paulo and fans can explore the Itaquera region as well as Sao Paulo. Sao Paulo has a whopping 12,500 restaurants to pick and choose from, and has more pizzerias than any city worldwide. Fans should definitely visit D.O.M. and Dalva & Dito, restaurants that are run by Alex Atala, who is said to be the world's most influential chef. Fasano is another great option for indulging in traditional Brazilian food. There are also 77 shopping malls to explore, which includes the Centro Commercial Aricanduva - the largest mall in Latin America. It has 500 stores to browse through. Sometimes said to be the cultural centre of Brazil, Sao Paulo has 55 cinemas, 90 museums and – believe it or not – over a hundred theatres to its credit. Visitors should definitely check out the Museu Paulista and Museu de Arte de Sao Paulo to find out more about this busy city. Itaquera tickets are available for fans to get a chance to experience all of these aspects of Brazil and the FIFA World Cup 2014.
