Buses run every 15 or 30 minutes and take around twenty - thirty minutes to the city centre. The Innsbruck Airport features offices of 6 major car rental firms offering a wide range of vehicles. These offices are located in the main hall and on the ground floor of the airport car park connected through an undercover walkway.

If you take a cable car to the mountain peaks, you would get to view the stunning panorama of the Austrian Alps and a bit to Germany and even Italy. Then there are around twenty five holiday villages around Innsbruck which are ideal for golfing, mountain biking, paragliding or simply walking.
Being a university city, the nightlife after is quite pulsating. After dark, the young crowds can be seen having sundowners at riverside lounge bars or the brewpubs, having coffee at cafes, dinning in chic restaurants, trying their luck in the casinos or just hanging out at beer gardens. For a more energetic and up-scale party atmosphere, hit the clubs in Viaduktbogen district. There are also evenings where one can enjoy brass bands, and folk dancing coupled with a drink or two. For those who are lovers of symphony orchestra, Innsbruck has its very own symphony music. Other recreational offerings include year round live theater performances, opera and ballet, and cinema which are one of the reasons for high Innsbruck tickets sales.
