Coronado is a vibrant and a thriving city located in the state of California. It is an island community, thus, it comprises beautiful surroundings, and is a great tourist spot.

The area, south of where Hotel Del Coronado stands today, was first occupied by tourists in the early days, who then established it and named it Tent City. It continued till the 1940s. However, the City itself was never recognized as the Tent City.
Since then, Coronado has gained the reputation and also the position of a great tourist destination, both, for the residents and its visitors alike. Today, the City of Coronado comprises fifteen top-class hotels, and seventy-one very famous and well-appreciated restaurants to savor your taste buds, along with offering a great range of recreational activities, to its locals and visitors.
