It is now called the U.S. Sugar Corp. and shines bright as the largest landowner and employer in Clewiston, the largest producer of cane sugar in USA, and one of the topmost producers of oranges and orange juice products. Officially incorporated on 1925, Clewiston owes its economic growth and its nickname, America's Sweetest Town, to this booming sugarcane industry.
