Originally the band consisted of three main members, Tyler Joseph, Nick Thomas and Chris Salih, who knew each other from college. It was Joseph who came up with the group's name after reading Arthur Miller's play ?All My Sons?, which follows the life of a former aircraft parts manufacturer who has to spend his entire life living with the guilt that his faulty parts caused the deaths of twenty one pilots in World War Two.
Prepared for takeoff
Twenty One Pilots have been quite busy and have released four albums till now. Only their last two efforts however have been successful, as climbed into the top twenty five of the Billboard charts.
