James Taylor
Born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in Carrboro, North Carolina, James Vernon Taylor is a singer-songwriter and a guitarist. Learning how to play the cello as a child, Taylor started playing the guitar in 1960, when he was only 12 years old. Soon, he began performing and got his big breakthrough in 1970 with the No.3 single "Fire and Rain" from his second album, Sweet Baby James. This was followed by his next year's first No.1 hit - "You've Got a Friend", a cover of the classic song of Carole King. Then in 1976, Taylor's Greatest Hits album sold almost 12 million US copies and was certified Diamond. After signing with the Columbia Records in 1977, Taylor released his classic album - JT, and earned rave reviews. Thus, Taylor received a high amount of popularity in the 1970s with his brand of soft and acoustic music. Day by day, his demand in the musical circle grew and he made a permanent spot in the hearts of millions, worldwide.

The man has retained a huge audience over the decades. He has produced hit after hit. Tracks such as "Fire and Rain," "You've Got a Friend," "How Sweet It Is," and "Handy Man" are still remembered and listened to by thousands. Although he did see a decline in his career, he soon regained his power during the 1990s and 2000s. This was mainly due to the release of some of his best-selling and most-awarded albums such as Hourglass, October Road and Covers.

Till date, Taylor has won five Grammy Awards. He has also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2000. The James Taylor Tickets have always been in great demand as Taylor is known for only presenting top quality shows before his audiences and hearing him live always provide the listeners a great experience.

Carole King
Carole King, originally known as Carol Klein, was born in Brooklyn, New York and is a singer-songwriter. She started playing out the piano at first and then progressed to singing. While attending the James Madison High School, King formed a vocal group of four, entitled 'Co-Sines'. She enrolled in Queens College, where the pop singer-songwriter Neil Sedaka was her classmate. Inspired by King, Sedaka made the song 'Oh Carol' that turned out to be his first big hit. In response to this, King wrote the song 'Oh Neil'. While still attending college, King made friends with the singer-songwriter Paul Simon and the lyricist Gerry Goffin. This led to the songwriting partnership between King and Goffin, known as Goffin-King and together they penned out several hits in the 1960s, including "Will You Love Me Tomorrow". The two then got married, and King gave birth to two daughters, who grew up to become musicians. However, Goffin and King got divorced in 1968.

The album that made Carole King a household name was Tapestry, released in 1971. It was an instant success, topping the U.S. album chart for 15 weeks straight. It sold more than 10 million copies in the United States alone; whereas, over 25 million copies were sold worldwide. King is a four-time winner of the Grammy Awards. She, along with her husband/partner - Goffin, has also been inducted into both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for songwriting.
