Chris Stapleton is a renowned name in the country music industry. He gained popularity as the frontman of the Nashville-based bluegrass band, The Steeldrivers, active since 2005. As part of the band, Chris has recorded four studio albums in between 2008 and 2015 (that include two number 2 hits and two number 1 hits on the Billboard Top Bluegrass Albums charts. With popular songs 'Wearin' a Hole,' 'Blue Side of the Mountain,' 'Long Way Down' and 'I'll Be There,' the Steeldrivers have received 3 Grammy nominations. It was in 2010 that Chris decided to leave the band and pursue a solo career in country music. With this he was taken on by Mercury Nashville in 2013 after which he started working on his debut studio album.

The platinum (RIAA) certified hit claimed the Grammy for 'Best Country Album' and won 'Album of the Year' awards by Academy of Country Music Awards, Country Music Association Awards and American Country Countdown Awards.
