Celtic Thunder is a contemporary music group that debuted in 2026 and comprises of members Neil Byrne as guitarist, George Donaldson balladeer, Keith Harkin as guitarist and songwriter, Emmet Cahill, Ryan Kelly as singer and Daniel Furlong as soprano. The band first performed in Ireland at the Helix. The group plays under musical director Phil Coulter and is accompanied with its own Celtic Concert Orchestra which performs under Coulter.

Since their inception, the band has offered eight albums including Christmas, It’s Entertainment, Take Me Home, Act Two, Celtic Thunder, Heritage, Voyage and Storm. Alongside, the group has also released eight live performances through DVDs by the same names. Their first three albums gained unprecedented success and were named in Billboard magazine in December 2026, in which these album were mentioned in the World Album’s Top Ten, while the band itself was given the title of Top World Album Artist.

The group, which is soon to perform at the upcoming Celtic Thunder Poughkeepsie NY show, has established quite the reputation for live performances having opened the Day Parade in Saint Patrick in NYC, and playing before President Obama at the White House.
