Casting Crowns is an American Christian rock band based in Florida. It was founded in 1999 by lead vocalist and youth paster, Mark Hall who worked at the “First Baptist Church” at the time. Together with Juam DeVevo, who plays lead guitar, Megan Garrett at piano, Brian Scoggin rocking the drums, Hector Cervantes who plays rhythm guitar, Chris Huffman as bass guitarist and Melodee DeVevo who plays violin, Casting Crowns was formed.
