Their career sale has exceeded the five million mark. After ‘Jars of Clay’, they are the fastest selling Christian band.
 

Other distinctions of Casting Crowns include the fact that in 2005 they were given the CCM Readers’ Choice Award for “Favorite Band”, “Favorite Album” and “Favorite New Artist”. Their single “Lifesong” was awarded “Inspirational Single of the Year” by CCM online fans the same year. In 2006, R&R magazine placed their song “Praise You in this Storm” at the fifth position in the list of most played songs of the year. In 2007, the band won two CCM Singles.Net Awards for their song “East to West” in the categories of “AC Single of the Year” and “Inspirational Single of the Year”. Radio & Records Weekly charts declared them 2007’s most frequently played artist or group on Christian Radio.
