Details of The Book Of Mormon - Saint Louis MO and the Ticket Luck value
The Book of Mormon is a Broadway musical written by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. The three writers are not only responsible for writing the book, but have also composed the lyrics and music for the show. They had previously worked together as well, in particular Parker and Stone who collaborated for “South Park”, a popular Canadian animated series. Lopez is also known for his association with “Avenue Q”. Since all three of them have been fairly successful in their individual projects, people can be guaranteed that their work together will be nothing short of outstanding. With their musical, they have taken the challenge to view religion and the commercial theatre critically, raising some eyebrows, but getting their point across. Their opinion of the Mormon religion and musical theatre becomes more apparent as the show goes on, coloring the entire script with skepticism.
The Book of Mormon follows the story of Mormon missionaries as they visit Uganda to serve and hopefully invite people to their religion. The backdrop of the story thus becomes the village, situated in one of the remote areas of the country. The three youngsters, however, remain unfazed and vow to bring some brightness into the lives of these people. What they do not realize is that they live in difficult circumstances—full of diseases, poverty and war—to care much about Mormonism.
