Big Time Rush is a 2009 formation of Nickelodeon. Looking for 4 young adults to play the lead roles in the TV series with the similar name, Kendall Francis Schmidt, Carlos Roberto Pena, Jr., James David Maslow and Logan Phillip Henderson were finalized.  The name of the series was decided by the four artists and they gave the title “Big Time Rush” which is generally a term used in the game of hockey. After signing a contract with Columbia/Epic Record group, they transformed into an actual band other than just playing their roles on the TV show. This band will be performing live in front of millions of audience at the Big Time Rush New York NY concert.

 
Released in November 2009, their first single was sought to be the main title song of the television series. It gushed its way through the iTunes forum and broke all Billboard Hot 100 records. The demand for their singing talent was brought to the television series and by October 2010, they managed to create an entire album of their songs and was made available to the US market by October 2011. This album was vested with powerful tracks such as "Halfway There", "City Is Ours" and "Til I Forget about You". Of all the numbers, "B.T.R." spotted the third position on Billboard Hot 200.
