B.B. King was brought into the world of music by his cousin guitarist Bukka White when he took him to Tennessee. He started working at a radio station as DJ and singer where he was nicknamed as Beale Street Blues Boy, shortened later to B.B. King. His first single was released through Bullet Records in 1949, which couldn’t be a great hit. However his 1951 single release Three O’clock Blues was a national hit.
