Riley B. King – also known as B.B. King has given the blues for global music lovers. He is the pioneer of jazz blue and has been recording since 1940s. To date he has recorded and released more than 50 albums of which mostly are classics. As years have passed by B.B. King has grown out to be one of the most astonishing guitar players. His rock guitarist style is affable and he borrows this from Blind Lemon Jefferson, T-Bone Walker and many others who have integrated his accurate and multifaceted string bends and vibrating the guitar with his left hand. In 1968, B.B. King performed at the Newport Folk Festival followed by a performance at the Bill Graham's Fillmore West with other hot modern rock artists who actually idolized B.B. King. 1969 came and B.B. King was invited by the Rolling Stones to launch concerts in America. He played with Ike and Tina Turner in a total of 18 shows and was later in 1984 introduced to the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame.  This was followed by his induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. In the Delta Area, a museum is dedicated to King and his music.
